    c.  Rebuilt Truck/Bus with new or used imported engine and/or chassis (MC-RIB-2007-831)
    d.  Rebuilt Truck/Bus with imported engine or chassis combined with a previously registered component (MC-RIB-2007-831)
    e.  Rebuilt Truck/Bus with engine and chassis purchased locally or from previously registered vehicles or combination thereof (MC-RIB-2007-831)
    f.   Rebuilt Truck/Bus with imported engine and/or chassis acquired through public bidding (MC-RIB-2007-831)

1. IMPORTED SECOND HAND (USED) EXEMPTED FROM EO 156/877-A

Requirements

  • Commercial Invoice or Certificate of Registration from country or origin
  • BOC Certificate of Payment
  • Authority under the No Dollar Importation issued by the BIS-DTI
  • If no authority from BIS-DTI:
    - Seizure Proceedings
    - Notice of Award
  • Affidavit of first and last importation
  • Bill of Lading
  • Certificate of Compliance to Emission Standards (CCES) issued by the Regional Office
  • PNP-TMG Clearance Certification
  • Duly accomplished and approved Motor Vehicle Inspection Report (MVIR) issued by the MVIS accredited by the LTO
  • Appropriate insurance certificate of cover
  • Taxpayer’s Identification Number (TIN)

Procedure

  1. Proceed to the transaction counters and submit all the required documents to the Evaluator for evaluation and computation of fees.
  2. Proceed to the Cashier when your name is called for the necessary fees and obtain an Official Receipt (OR).
  3. Proceed to the Releasing Counter when your name is called to obtain the Certificate of Registration (CR), plates, stickers, and other requested documents.

2. IMPORTED SECOND HAND THROUGH THE NO DOLLAR IMPORTATION PROGRAM

Requirements

  • Commercial Invoice or Certificate of Registration from country or origin
  • BOC Certificate of Payment
  • Authority under the No Dollar Importation issued by the BIS-DTI
  • If no authority from BIS-DTI:
    - Seizure Proceedings
    - Notice of Award
  • Affidavit of first and last importation
  • Bill of Lading
  • Certificate of Compliance to Emission Standards (CCES) issued by the Regional Office
  • PNP-TMG Clearance Certification

Requirements

  • Deed of Donation duly signed by donor and the donee
  • BOC Certificate of Payment
  • Certificate of Stock Reported
  • Bill of Lading
  • Secretary’s Certificate/Board Resolution when donor is a corporation
  • Certificate of Compliance to Emission Standards (CCES) issued by the Regional Office (if MV is already used)
  • PNP-HPG MV Clearance Certificate
  • Duly accomplished and approved Motor Vehicle Inspection Report (MVIR) issued by MVIS or any alternate MVIS duly accredited by LTO
  • Appropriate insurance certificate of cover
  • Taxpayer’s Identification Number (TIN)

Procedure

  • Duly accomplished and approved Motor Vehicle Inspection Report (MVIR) issued by MVIS or any alternate MVIS duly accredited by LTO
  • Appropriate insurance certificate of cover

Requirements

Original Sales Invoice of engine, body and chassis
BOC OR of the engine and chassis
Certificate of Stock Reported (CSR) for engine and chassis
BOC Certificate of Payment for the whole unit
Certificate of Stock Reported issued by the Regional Office for the assembly of the rebuilt motor vehicle in compliance with RA-6539, the Anti-Carnapping Act of 1972
Affidavit of Rebuilt
Affidavit of Conversion, if applicable
Certificate of Compliance to Emissions Standards (CCES) issued by the Regional Office
PNP-TMG MV Clearance Certificate
Duly accomplished and approved Motor Vehicle Inspection Report (MVIR) issued by the MVIS or any alternate MVIS duly accredited by LTO.
Appropriate insurance certificate of cover
Taxpayer’s Identification Number (TIN)

Procedure

1. Proceed to the transaction counters and submit all the required documents to the Evaluator for evaluation and computation of fees.
2. Actual inspection of motor vehicles with duly accomplished MVIR. (This form is available for download here. You can accomplish this form prior to transacting your business at the LTO.)
3. Proceed to the Cashier when your name is called for the necessary fees and obtain an Official Receipt (OR).
4. Proceed to the Releasing Counter when your name is called to obtain the Certificate of Registration (CR), plates, stickers, and other requested documents.
