The Land Transportation
Office, through General Fund
(Fund 101) intends to apply
the following amounts being
the Approved Budget for the
Contract (ABC) for the
following projects, to wit:
-
Strengthening of Covered
Walk at Driveway
Area
-Php363,746.95
-
Improvement and
Repair of LTO Odiongan
District Office
-Php482,410.00
Bids received in excess of
the ABC shall be
automatically rejected at
Bid opening.
The Land Transportation
Office now calls for the
submission of Letters of
Intent (LOIs) from potential
Bidders to apply for
eligibility for the
Strengthening of Covered
Walk at Driveway Area and
Improvement & Repair of LTO
Odiongan District Office.
Bidders should possess a
valid PCAB license
applicable to the above type
and cost of the contract,
have completed a similar
contract with a value of at
least fifty percent (50%) of
the ABC, and meet the other
minimum eligibility
requirements stated in the
Eligibility Documents.
Interested Bidders must
submit their LOIs between
January 26 – February1 at
3:00 P.M. at the Property
Section, East Ave., Q.C. and
secure the Eligibility
Documents therefrom.
Applications for eligibility
will be evaluated on a
“pass/fail” basis. The last
day for the submission of
the accomplished Eligibility
Documents shall be on the
date of the opening of
Eligibility Documents, to
wit:

Bidders passing the
eligibility check will be
entitled to purchase the
Bidding Documents.
Bidding will be conducted
through open competitive
bidding procedures as
specified in the
Implementing Rules and
Regulations Part A (IRR-A)
of Republic Act 9184 (R.A.
9184), otherwise known as
the “Government Procurement
Reform Act,” and is
restricted, unless otherwise
stated, to organizations
with at least seventy-five
percent (75%) interest
or outstanding capital stock
belonging to citizens of the
Philippines. In accordance
with the IRR-A of R.A. 9184,
only Bids from eligible
Bidders will be opened. In
accordance with the IRR-A of
R.A. 9184 a contract will
only be awarded to the
Lowest Calculated and
Responsive Bidder who was
determined as such during
post-qualification.
Interested eligible Bidders
may obtain further
information from Land
Transportation Office and
inspect the Bidding
Documents at the address
given below from 8:00A.M. to
5:00P.M.
A complete set of Bidding
Documents may be purchased
by Bidders that passed the
eligibility check upon the
presentation of the Notice
of Eligibility to the BAC
Secretariat, at the address
below and upon payment of a
nonrefundable fee of
Php1,000.00. The Bidding
Documents shall be received
personally by the bidder or
his authorized
representative from February
3 – 9, 2009 from 8:00 A.M.
to 4:00 P.M. at the BAC
Secretariat, LTO-Property
Section, East Ave., Quezon
City.

All Bids must be accompanied
by a Bid security in any of

The Land Transportation
Office reserves the right to
accept or reject any Bid, to
annul the bidding process,
and to reject all Bids at
any time prior to contract
award, without thereby
incurring any liability to
the affected Bidder or
Bidders.
