Saturday, 24th November 2012 marked another eventful moment for the Land Transportation Office, National Capital Region Family.  A total of Seven Hundred Twenty (720) member employees have joined and bear witnesses to the 2nd LTO-NCR Family Fun Day.

The appointments/re-appointments of the Regional Directors and Assistant Regional Directors of the Land Transportation Office was signed and issued by the Honorable President Benigno Aquino III on October 01, 2012 through the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) Secretary Joseph Emilio Aguinaldo Abaya, and Land Transportation Office Assistant Secretary Virginia P. Torres.

The DOTC has recently approved the revision on the Rules and Regulations on the Authorization and Monitoring of Motor Vehicle Private Emission Testing Centers (PETCs), PETC IT Providers and Motor Vehicle Emission Control Technicians and Rules of Procedure governing appealed cases before the DOTC Secretary from Decisions or Resolutions of the LTO Assistant Secretary (DOTC Department Order No. 2012-10).
